My thoughts exactly. The article that I read said to figure $3,500 after tax, delivery, etc. So $7,000 imported into the Philippines if made in India.

If it ever did make it to the Philippines, by the time it got through
customs it would cost $5000, or nearly as much as a new Toyota.
UNLESS, they assembled them here.
