I let my state license expire, have no need for it as
I no longer reside in the US. I do have a Philippine
Driver's Licence. Set to renew again in March.
I cannot believe some of the prices quoted here,
especially the P7000.
To get my licence initially, I walking in to the LTO,
I did have my wife with me but, negotiations were not
needed. Prices are posted on the wall. I paid P30
Conversion Fee, P180 Licence Fee and P52.80 Computer
Fee for a total of P262.80. This is as listed on my
OR. My drug test was P50 which included the eye exam.
That was it. Nothing extra. I got my temporary and had
get my temporary extended twice before receiving the
hard licence. Total time that took was 4 months.
