Hi Steve,
I find it difficult to believe these figures across the board. No
doubt the average workers are indeed on the Php15k area but Doctors on
Php18k ( 2221 Medical Doctors 18,134 )? I see 2 different doctors, 1
at a local clinic & 1 a Consultant at Asian Hospital. The local
charges Php200 & the consultant Php1,000. Take the local doctor who
shares his time (as many do) between a number of clinics. Say he has
10 patients a day (conservative) x 6 days a week would give him a
monthly income of Php52,000. I would think this is pretty
representative of Doctors in cities & suburbs.
I think these statistics are likely tax reported -lol!
