I send txts all of the time from my mobile phone service; Altel.
They seem to all go through. However, the return txts are quite
expensive.
Now, I use Chikka almost exclusively. They go through almost
immediately and responses cost the sender in the Philippines either 2
pesos or 2.5 pesos.
In fact, from Iraq I am using Chikka and all of the Filipinos that I
work with or know here use Chikka as well.
You can download Chikka for free and there are no monthly charges for
using the service.
