Re: [LinP3] Blue Cross Blue Shield

Hi,

The Asian Hospital and Medical Center in Alabang, Muntinlupa City,
accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield as full payment. It's the hospital that
will get a pre-approval of any procedure. In emergency cases, as in
the case of an urgent surgery, the hospital will do it even if there's
no deposit to be made.

I know this because as a U.S. Federal retiree, I was once
hospitalized at the Asian Hospital, and it was the one that contacted
Blue Cross Blue Shield in the U.S. or Canada. It was a Blue Cross rep
from Canada who contacted my doctor with regard to the procedure to be
made. To be admitted, you have to show only your card. Upon
admittance, a so-called Privilege Card will be given to the patient.

There's also a hospital in Olongapo City that accepts the card. I
forgot its name. I think it's a general hospital.
