There are several places to buy GPS receivers in Manila.
You may try Infomax, an electronics store. Their address is: Unit C418 4/F Cyberzone, SM Megamall B Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila.
They stock some models & will sometimes order others on request. Infomax also has branches at Park Square 2, Makati & at Virra Mall, Greenhills.
it is best to select a Garmin product if you intend to use the GPS primarily for navigating with electronic maps. This is because the basemaps that come with most consumer GPS units have very limited detail for Philippines. However, a group of Philippine based GPS enthusiasts have created their own maps that are free & can be uploaded to Garmin mapping GPS ONLY.
