Surely nearly every foreigner has been asked questions like these. It
doesn't mean that you have to answer them if you don't want to. Filipinos
are merely curious. They are just as interested in the size of your income
as they are in how many hourrs it took you to fly to the Philippines. In
other words, these questions aren't thought be personal. You may in turn
ask about their income too, without offending anyone.
