Vedr. [LinP3] Buying cheep touring vehicle for visit

Hello Mark.
welcome here. I think it is one "problem" with that car,its been imported from Japan or a country where they drive on the LEFT side and converted to right side driving in the Philippines.Like many vans here, i was to buy a Mitsubishi Delica and most of them is imported used from Japan.I am a little large 184 or about 6 feet and with the natural weight for my age. Well the problem is after convertion the old passanger seat become the driver seat but it is never converted to be slideable so if you are bigger than a philipino you might have a promlem to sit desent in those imported cars/vans. I tried one Toyota same year as this but was unable to sit good in it.How can you see easily if its been imported? The rear sliding door is on the left side of the car. That might also be a minor problem to let your back seat passenger enter or leave the car in the traffic side of the car.
Just my 2 cents...
Have a good new year and a nice day
Geir

I hope to visit in Feb or March fielding for a permanent stay.
I thought about buying a truck or van instead of taking buses and buy rooms
on SF. If I decide to come back and stay keep it. If not sell it and come
home.
I found this on craigslist
http://manila.craigslist.com.ph/car/486836743.html
It is a diesel and I am a big bio-diesel nut
Anythoughts?
