$1200/mo is probably ok for now, in fact, you should be able to add a
little to your savings with that. But what will happen to the $ next
year? The year after? Also, a lot of the guys here retire to the Phils
expecting to get SS to help out after a while. I don't ever expect to
see a dime of that and at your age you can just forget it. Even if it
was around it's based on the average of your last so many years work
which would be 0 anyway. You can do it but I wouldn't touch the
savings at all because you're probably going to need it for a flight
back one day.
