Put your money in a CD for 10 years....at least you you will be able to see
it grow. You should be extremely sure about someones intent==that you are
not married to yet. Save your money and heartache, work on your relationship
first and after 5 years....then invest.

Dear Daniel,

Excellent advice, Daniel. Negotiating a cross cultural relationship can be
very stressful on both involved. And adapting to a new country, a new person
in your life, and maybe part of their family too, 24/7, is a major
challenge. Franchises, business of all sorts will always be there. But your
money and even your marriage may not. No need to put the stress of a new
business on a new marriage.

I hope he and others listens to you. But in the rush to make money, to get
established, to be successful materially, most over look the most basic and
demanding of challenges: adapting to a new culture and a new relationship.
So for most who need to follow your good advice, Daniel, I fear it will fall
on deaf ears. But at least you tried.

Respectfully,
Don
