Pancake surup is so easy to make and sugar is cheap in RP.
Take water, add sugar, boil until about half as thick as you want
it. Let it cool and if you want it thicker, boil it some more.
Be careful, you make get it too thick. You can flavor it with
vanila extract, almond extract, or maple extract. Why buy at
an inflated cost.

Raymond,
I don't recall seeing Bisquick in the stores here. There are pancake mixes
available here but we don't like them. To us they are overrefined and
over sweet. We just make up our own pancakes from scratch, often
incorporating chopped fresh mango. Pancake syrup is widely available.
