I am a filipina. I used to have a problem with my birth certificate years back when I wanted to apply for my passport. My way was, I applied for a "late registration" of birth so, I had my new birth certificate with the corrected entry. She has to find someone to help her do this because this is a complicated matter in the Phil.(wrong BC). A friend who had to change her birth certificate also had to do it by court and had to spend $400, she said. I dont know how much in CDO.
