I am married to a lady in the Metro Manila area and we have been
separated for almost 3 years. She has refused to sign an American
divorce document and therefore I am still married in the eyes of the
Philippine government. When she told me in 2005 to leave I did so and
surrendered my 13a residency. Is it possible to regain this status
without involving that woman? I wish to come back and teach English and
have several job offers but they require the appropriate residency
status. Any assistance will be appreciated.
