[LinP3] Re: tagaytay

Hello - enjoyed your post about Tagaytay. We are planning to move
out of Manila in early March because I can no longer tolerate the
smog, crowds and traffic jams 24/7. How about lodging in Tagaytay?
We would be interested in renting a one or two bedroom place with a
nice view in a quiet area. I hate loud noises from music, etc. What
suggestions would you have for housing? We would be looking at
renting/leasing a place and not buying. Thanks for any help you can
provide! ====Manila Bob Hi Bob it is best to get your
filipino partner or friend to look around the various sub. divisions
here in tagaytay, get them to take a few photo's and show you, because
if you show your face the rent goes up!! there are some nice ones
with swimming pool etc, don't bother with agents or you will be
paying well over the odds. prices go from 15.000-to 60.000 peso and a
lot more for select sub.divisions. I was looking at a 4 bedroom
place with garden at 30.000 peso but my filipino gf said no it is not
in a sub.division so it is not safe. I have to respect her views, it
is her country. best wishes David
