Re: [LinP3] Re: Pancakes Carol, Bob

Yes here in Ilo Ilo there's plenty of oat bran from Australia even muesli is
available here. The Ilo Ilo supermarket carry a lot of imported goods
especially at the Atrium I can even find shaved, slivered almond, pine nuts
and more we even found cranberry sauce that we missed last thanksgiving.
Sometimes when those stuffs are available you have to get several packets
because mostly it's out of stock. Mc cormick brand of seasonings and spices
here are cheap than the States. But if you're into cooking I can't find yet
a saffron or cardamom seeds so making a paella is passed for me in the
meantime. I brought cardamom with me which is good with curry or brewed tea
it also good with some cooked desserts. I tried my very first time brined
pork roast rubbed with rosemary it is really good! I even perfected gravy
from the slightly burnt drippings. I would like to try to make a fresh mango
syrup for my pancake though!

Keep exploring the art of cooking!
